An experiment for 6 weeks: with one gig recorded at Queen Elizabeth Hall in September 1976. Features: Brian Eno, Simon Phillips, Francis Monkman, Lloyd Watson and Bill MacCormick. Top Ten import in the US for over a year after release.

Tapes of the band's first ever performance at a small venue in Cromer, Norfolk have recently been discovered. Expression Records are looking into the possibility of releasing these tapes.

Low key documentary evidence of second generation 801. Guests include Andy Mackay and Kevin Godley and Lol Creme (10 cc) in their hometown. They augment the basic band of PM, Paul Thompson from Roxy, Dave Skinner, Simon Ainley and the ubiquitous Bill MacCormick.
