DIAMOND HEAD (1975)

Diamond Head'Diamond Head' was Phil's first solo project. Recorded in 1974 and 1975, it was released to widespread critical acclaim on both sides of the Atlantic in early summer 1975. Featuring several Roxy colleagues, the ubiquitous Brian Eno, his previous band 'Quiet Sun' and a host of top British musicians, 'Diamond Head' is a classic mixture of great songs and top performances.

'Diamond Head' charted in the UK at No. 24 and reached No. 4 in the Dutch album charts. The album also received extensive airplay in the USA, heavily featuring on airplay lists, especially in the NE.
