Back to the Photo Archive Main Page								Lloyd Watson sprang to prominence as the support act on a Roxy Music tour where his slide guitar virtuosity, harmonica playing and blues tinged vocals drew not a few back to the auditorium from the bar. Lloyd was nothing if not exuberant, as his impromptu vocal contributions on 'Fat Lady of Limburg' bear testimony. But he was, nay, is a blindingly good guitarist capable of great sensitivity and with more than a few good licks. Listen to his contribution on 'Wrong Rong'. Lloyd hailed from Leicester (someone has to) and since the 801, has kept the East Midlands rocking almost single-handedly.
